Description
The Volvo XC40 - Showroom project is an engaging presentation application for the Volvo XC40 car, developed using the Unity 3D engine. Designed primarily for trade shows, it allows users to effortlessly explore the entire vehicle model, customize equipment to meet their preferences, view a gallery of photos and videos, and even schedule a test drive. The application features a real-time vehicle preview alongside each functionality.
The app boasts an advanced profiling system that lets users tailor the car to their specifications, ranging from body color personalization to choosing the gearbox type. Profiles can be saved and retrieved as needed.
A versatile camera system enables free movement around and inside the car model. Additional features include zoom in/out options, opening car doors, and turning on lights to fully experience the model's functionalities.
The application includes a built-in language selection system, allowing for easy switching of display texts with a single click. Adding new language options is straightforward, requiring modifications to just a single CSV file, even after the build process.
The gallery and video player also allow for convenient content updates post-build. This project was completed during an internship at ItSilesia.
